Cliff Perkins Honored for Service as Chairman of Workers Compensation Law Section

Cliff Perkins was recently honored for his service as chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Cliff served on the Executive Committee for the Workers’ Compensation Law Section for the past eight years and as chairman for the 2010-2011 section year.

The Workers’ Compensation Law Section has approximately one thousand lawyers who are members. The section keeps its members fully informed in the area of workers’ compensation and works closely with the State Board of Workers’ Compensation to convey information regarding new rules changes and statutes. It also actively participates in and supports workers’ compensation seminars and continuing legal education.

What if I have other questions about workers compensation?

Georgia’s workers compensation system can be very confusing.  You have to worry about getting the treatment you need and paying your bills while also worrying about not missing any deadlines that could cause you to lose your right to receive workers compensation benefits.

If you have questions, I would recommend that you try to get answers.  To find out more about how to schedule a time to talk to me about your workers compensation questions, just read this short article.
