Attorneys Help Out at State Capitol

Today, Ann-Margaret Perkins, Jason Perkins, and Travis Studdard are volunteering to help out at the Georgia State Capitol as part of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association’s Lawyer ofAMPTravisJason - GTLA Lawyer of the Day the Day program.  This program offers an opportunity for GTLA members to help out at the Capitol by reviewing proposed legislation and meeting with State Senators and Representatives.  All of the Perkins Studdard attorneys volunteer their time through leadership roles in various statewide and local organizations to help out with political and community matters.  By doing so, we try to assure that the rights of all Georgia consumers are workers are protected.  Ann-Margaret, Jason, and Travis are glad to have this opportunity to offer their time to ensure that the Georgia civil justice system treats individuals fairly.

What if I have other questions about workers compensation?

Georgia’s workers compensation system can be very confusing.  You have to worry about getting the treatment you need and paying your bills while also worrying about not missing any deadlines that could cause you to lose your right to receive workers compensation benefits.

If you have questions, I would recommend that you try to get answers.  To find out more about how to schedule a time to talk to me about your workers compensation questions, just read this short article.
