Some Folks Are Just A Little Crazy1 minute read

Last year, three members of the Perkins Studdard family, along with two of their spouses and other friends, decide to run the Dixie 200, a 200 mile team race from Atlanta to Birmingham.  Although most of the runners on the team had not even run a half marathon before, they persevered through cold, rain, and lightning to finish 6th out of 15 teams in a time of just over 30 hours.

For some reason, once was not enough.  This year, Jason and Travis are back to take on another 200 mile race at the end of March.  They will be running from Columbia, South Carolina to Charleston, South Carolina as they participate in the Palmetto 200.  We hope you will cheer them on March 28 and 29 as Jason PerkinsTravis Studdard, and the rest of the team attempt to log another 200 miles.  During the race, we will be posting real time race updates and pictures on the Perkins Studdard Facebook page, so be sure to “Like” our Perkins Studdard page on Facebook for the most up to date information on the race.

What if I have other questions about workers compensation?

Georgia’s workers compensation system can be very confusing.  You have to worry about getting the treatment you need and paying your bills while also worrying about not missing any deadlines that could cause you to lose your right to receive workers compensation benefits.

If you have questions, I would recommend that you try to get answers.  To find out more about how to schedule a time to talk to me about your workers compensation questions, just read this short article.

Jason Perkins is an attorney who specializes in representing injured workers.  He regularly publishes videos and write blog articles about Georgia’s workers compensation system and issues that are important to injured workers and their families.
