Do you have workers’ compensation questions related to the COVID-19 coronavirus?

Workers’ Compensation Division Participating in Two Hundred Mile Race

JasonTravisLeahWe are excited to announce that our Workers’ Compensation Division will have three people competing in the Dixie 200, a 207 mile relay run from just outside of Atlanta, Georgia to Birmingham, Alabama.  Leah Carter organized the twelve person team on which she, Jason Perkins and Travis Studdard are running.  As part of this team, each of them  will run about 20 miles for a total of 60 of the team’s 207 miles between the three of them.

The race will start at the beginning of the Silver Comet Trail on Friday morning March 22 and end in Birmingham around noon on Saturday March 23.  Please join us in wishing Leah, Jason, and Travis good luck on their running adventure.  If you would like more information about the Dixie 200, you can visit the Dixie 200 web site or Facebook page.

What if I have other questions about workers compensation?

Georgia’s workers compensation system can be very confusing.  You have to worry about getting the treatment you need and paying your bills while also worrying about not missing any deadlines that could cause you to lose your right to receive workers compensation benefits.

If you have questions, I would recommend that you try to get answers.  To find out more about how to schedule a time to talk to me about your workers compensation questions, just read this short article.

Jason Perkins is an attorney who specializes in representing injured workers.  He regularly publishes videos and write blog articles about Georgia’s workers compensation system and issues that are important to injured workers and their families.
